I left engineering to bet on myself and knew I wanted more—and within 12 weeks, I broke into tech sales at ServiceTitan. I would never have been able to make this huge leap if it wasn't for the training, the coaches, and the ongoing mentoring inside Higher Levels.

I graduated with a mechanical engineering degree and started working full-time in the field, but the work quickly lost its appeal. It was repetitive, slow-paced, and lacked any real human connection. I knew I had more in the tank—and I wanted to be in a role where my performance actually mattered. That’s when one of Eric’s videos popped into my feed. I didn’t even know tech sales existed until that moment, but everything he and Connor were saying about cold calling and betting on yourself clicked immediately. I started doing my research, reaching out to Higher Levels alumni on LinkedIn to confirm it was legit, and once they all confirmed it was the real deal, I jumped in.

What was the most valuable part of the program to you?

The step-by-step workflow—hands down. Coming from engineering, I appreciated structure and clarity, and Higher Levels delivered. I followed the system to the letter: LinkedIn Sales Navigator, customized outreach, live classes, cold calls to hiring managers, even interview presentation templates. And it worked. I was working full-time as an engineer while applying, messaging, and prepping late into the night, and I still managed to land multiple late-stage interviews and ultimately broke into ServiceTitan. I didn’t have sales experience, but the live calls, community, and training gave me everything I needed to present like I did.

Don’t overthink it—just start. Whatever your background is, it doesn’t define where you can go next. I told myself, “If not now, then when?” and pushed through the doubts. Yes, I had imposter syndrome—I spent four years studying engineering—but the upside in tech sales was too good to ignore. If you're young, hungry, and willing to grind, this program will give you the tools, but you have to execute. I had no life for two or three months while working full-time and applying, but I knew what I wanted, and I went for it. You can always go back to your old career—but you owe it to yourself to try.
