What made you join Tech Sales Ascension?

Before I started trying to break into Tech Sales, I was trying to get into Digital Marketing because I thought I wasn't the kind of person to be in Tech Sales. Then I decided to pivot into Tech Sales because the earnings-to-reward ratio of Tech Sales was awesome compared to Marketing and I realized I had a lot more similarities than I thought. So I tried CourseCareers first, and while it gave me good information about the SDR role, it wasn't really showing me how to ACTUALLY break in. It was lacking in terms of how to land interviews, execute, and ongoing support. So I started watching your guys' YouTube videos and I thought to myself... This might be a much better fit. And of course, the rest is history. So happy and thankful I found you guys.

What was the most valuable part of the program to you?

The course was so much more straight forward and actionable than what I was used to with CourseCareers. Every video and piece of advice had a purpose, and there wasn't any fluff. It was very strongly directed toward actually landing interviews and executing.

What advice do you have for someone considering Tech Sales or Ascension?

Two things. Don't embellish your resume. Second, make sure to stick with trying to land interviews. You want to get into a spot where you're tired of having yet another interview. And of course, I definitely wouldn't have been able to do this without Higher Levels' help, support and incredible community. Highly recommend.
